Curing vegetarians
I tend not to buy a daily paper. I read “The week” which for those who don’t know is a magazine that picks the best articles from newpapers around the world to give a summary of the weeks news. Reading this i can get all my moral outrage and anger out at once. I was reading a letter on their letters page that was originally published in the Times. The letter was titled “Veggies, ignorant bliss” in it, the writer says that there is relatively new farming saying that goes “if you want to cure a veggie, take em ploughing.” what does that mean? Does he think that we would watch a farmer ploughing and say “oh look, he’s killed a baby bird, and a hedgehog, and a family of cute little dormice. Kill me a cow i’m cured” What a tw*t the writer is and what a stupid bloody saying.
