The boys were literally saved by the bell last night.  For some reason Scoot started a tickle fight which ended up with all 4 of us bundled on the floor. Normally these fights end in tears, either because I’ve tickled too hard or somebody’s banged their head. Just before we got to that stage last [...]

Had a stinking cold all weekend which hasn’t helped my recovery from – and may even have been caused by – last weeks little adventure. I just want to feel well again so that I can get out and train.  I do have a race in a few weeks and need to be fit enough [...]

I’ve got an appointment on the 21st April. I believe it is less invasive than the angiogram, which is good.  According to the information leaflet they inject Iodine into your blood so that it shows up on the X-ray. For more information on CT scans, click here

It was touch and go for a while whether it was going to happen or not.  I think mainly because of the delay in the pharmacy sending up tablets and also the doctor having to write a letter to my GP. I did the exercise test in the morning.  This involved a treadmill that was [...]

thinking about starting a new fashion craze. What you need to do is to shave some bare patches on you chest (only for the men that one)then stick lots of pads all over your body with really sticky glue. Then you wait till the glue has melted and spread, the pads fall off and the [...]

that’s how fit i feel, other than just being so tired through lack of sleep. I did get transferred onto a ward last night so was rid of my burping tourettes man who was replaced by several snorers. You would have thought that nurses who work the night shift would have developed quiet voices. The [...]

they’ve just put somebody in the bed next to me with tourettes, no volume control and chronic burping. Going to be a restful night.
