A good day yesterday….
Yesterday was a good day, despite consuming three slices of the dreaded ‘C’ word (cake). Finished up with a deficit of 1837 calories. When you consider you consume 4000 calories to burn a pound that’s not bad.
This morning started well with a step on the scales and a pound off. Then I had a good gym session. Was at the David Lloyd gym in Southampton at 6:30. I started the session with a half hour on the treadmill where I ran a little over 5K. That is not much compared to how fast I used to run but I was very chuffed. I felt strong and good. Finished up with a session on the resistance machines for my top half and then some leg presses and calf raises. All in all 719 calories. Not a bad way to start the day.
Got two web exes today, one of which I am the note taker and another where I have a 20 minute slot to present the results of a survey on the state of play of my clients marketing communications in Europe.
